As a result of a cross breeding between Kidds’ Orange and Golden Delicious it was selected 1960 in New Zealand.
The apple is small to medium sized, with smooth paring and from spheroidal, easily conical shape. It has a lightyellow primary colour and a shining-red, striped opaque colour.
The fruit is firm and juicy, with sweet flavour and has little acid.
In the middle of August.
In cold storage to at the end of Decembers, in CA storage until the end of May.
The apple is ideally suitable for prompt fresh consumption, since it can lose its typical flavour with longer storage.
