Fruit – Vegetable – Tropical Fruits
It is the oldest variety of styrian apple that is actually a coincidence seedling. To honour the heir to the throne it was named after the Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria-Hungary and was first introduced in the world exhibition of 1873.
It is a small to medium sized apple that is flattened and round in shape with firm flesh. The shade is a greenish primary colour with an opaque coloured sun-lateral red face.
It is finely spiced with a refreshing sourish and juicy taste.
From the middle to the end of September.
