Origin

It was discovered 1793 as a coincidence seedling in Apremont, France.

Fruit

Medium sized and bottle shaped with a regular cinnamon rost. The flesh is melting and close grained. The flesh discolours to a brownish shade.

Flavour

Juicy and sweet with a spicy, pleasant flavour.

Maturity

From the middle of September until the middle of October.

Storage

In cold storage until the end of January, and in CA storage until the end of April. It is sensitive to carbon dioxide, even in cold storage mature fruits can become damaged in a similar to carbon dioxide effects. Owing to the firm flesh, they are well transportable.
